In case it was missed, the cheap grill I noted earlier in the thread will make it look like this :
Imho that's really nice and clean.
The bonus is that you can take the opportunity to restore the badge to the OEM grill, and polish it up back to new-looking if it has any flaws, and stow it away.
When it comes time to sell, restore the car to all original parts, and sell the aftermarket stuff on forums/ebay/CL/whatever.
I find that 99% of the time it's best to sell a car with all original stuff. I know personally I don't like buying modded cars. When a buddy was looking for a 240 (he knows them pretty well) he kept looking at ads that said 'drift car', 'X, Y, and Z mods', "S13, S14", etc. All of those are dead giveaways that the owner is probably some 20-something that beat the pure piss out of the car. I finally found one that was owned by a cool older guy, he had his original window stickers, car was all original with 58k miles, he wanted about $2k more than average price (most of the cars with the avg price had 3x the miles, and beat to crap), but it was well worth it.
/silly OT mode over
Cliffs : I recommend getting the cheap aftermarket grill to achieve desired result, and keeping the stock stuff to reassemble when selling.
