Somebody had in their sig the text "When I die, I want to go like my grandfather did, peacefully in his sleep. Not yelling and screaming like all the passengers in his car."

That gave me an idea... start a thread about how you want to die!

Of all the ways to die, I think a panic-stricken descent from 13k feet would be pretty decent. Sure, you have a couple minutes of sheer terror when you realize that your main and reserve chutes have malfunctioned, but the end is almost painless. It'd be a rush. If I knew it was coming, I'd want to be on acid at the time. At least then I know it's not going to mess up my future.
