The solder points are probably all done by a machine press type deal. And who wants to manually clip each point just so it won't be "razor sharp," I mean... come on. Dell makes money by selling quantity. They couldn't care less about the quality of some intricate details that the average person will never see.

Depends what you define as a weapon I suppose.
I've seen more dead MSI boards than I have dead hookers.
And I've seen a lot of dead hookers, with reference to my now-deleted thread about removing hooker blood from walls and ceilings.

I bet I could take apart any retail computer and find razor sharp solder points in it somewhere. What do you want them to do, stamp a warning sticker on the back saying "If the little pointy things on the back of the motherboard that we don't want you playing with look sharp, they probably are!"?

I could, too. They're in the damned PSU. I'm used to looking for them there. Only in vintage Dells do they manifest themselves anywhere else (they're much less common on newer models since the points are MUCH smaller and apparently less prone to sharpness)
