I like her and her music.

I don't think she fits into the rigid cultural world that America has degenerated into since the 1980s, where there is mostly only an illusion of diversity as far as mainstream culture, and little tolerance for anything unusual from brain-dead mass-market consumerists.
 
I liked her music when she had gotten her life straight and was with Hole - she looked hot too 🙂 She's a prime example of how drugs ruin lives.

Drugs are bad, mmmkay? I really liked Hole's first album as well, but she's lost her mind these days. I really wonder if she's EVER sober/clean at all these days. Either she's truly lost her mind, or she's constantly coked up. Sad either way.
 
She has a daughter who she couldn't care less about because she would rather be out there, boozing and doping until she finally puts herself out of her own misery. When will that crackwhore finally OD?!

Her drug induced behavior is well known and documented. The welfare of her child is the paramount consideration at this point. Either Courtney "gets it" or she doesn't. This has less to do with acceptance by "brain dead mass market consumerists " as it does with a public immolation ( for all practical purposes).
According to my sources ( who used to be in the employ of Ms. Love Inc. ) her abuse of drugs is only exceeded by her abuse of people, of which there are few laws to protect the victims... to Mr.Cobain's eternal detriment.
R.I.P. Kurt Cobain, you burned brightly, but too briefly.

While I agree that she is burning out, she is after all a rock-star. They are not generally known to be the most responsible of people. It is a shame that her child and those in her immediate orbit will suffer but there are worse tragedies on this earth than to be "used" by Courtney Love.
