Like the title says, Fujifilm 50 pack CD-R blanks (silver/blue only, multicolored for $19.99) for $8.49 at Fry's.
Unadvertised deal, I don't know if it is good at any other Fry's besides the one in Portland. It works out to $0.17 cents a blank.

<edit> confirmed that this is for all Frys locations until Thu 3/14. These are the silver/blue colored (non-multicolored) 24x normally priced at $19.99 PLU#2894074

I never ran into a FujiFilm spindle that doesn't have the screw-top (as known as a reference to it be Made In Japan/Taiyo Yuden Factorized)

Confirmed in Sac. PLU #2894074. 24X 80min 50 pack spindle, made in Japan, $8.49.

** EDIT **

Will try to pricematch at Best Buy tomorrow. Who knows? Maybe I'll get lucky (that'd work out to $1.49 after MIR, how sweet that would be).

Dallas, TX frys has about ~15 left, down from ~26:D

EDIT: correction, the dallas,tx frys still has several hundred left.
I didn't notice the isle near the speakers that had a 4 ft stack of them.

This is good for those that need more than one, since no limit, correct.

BUT, if you only need one pack,
Best Buy has it for $11.99 with a $7 MIR.
You pay $4.99 + tax on the $12 after the MIR.
These were 24x in my BB.

this deal is cool, almost as good as few months back at OM...anyhow, I went to Best Buy last night and they were out so this deal rocks, personally

--no rebates...cause rebate=suck
--no calling 1-800 numbers to get rebates 6months overdue
--no limit on number you can buy!

anyhow, just came back from Fry's in Fremont, Calif, and there must be hella ATHD readers in Fremont cause there were quite a few empty cartons of Fuji's laying around...but good news is there's at least 100-150 spindles left here. the price sticker is marked $19.99 but I went up to a salesman and he pricechecked it to $8.49. i told him it was marked different than the sale i heard about, and he said it just got changed in the computers and whatnot.

not sure about other locations, but these are indeed Japanese TY's, the Fry's PLU (SKU?) is 2894074

<< yeah they are that price at the one on lawerence >>

Hey baloobear, it is $8.49 at Lawrence one?
I went to the Brokaw one at San Jose, and the only Fuji 50 pack CD-R is the 5-color one, and it is $24.99.

These are 24X CDRs (blue/sliver).

There are two different pricing - $19.99 and $24.99, make sure you pick the 19.99 one.
