<< These are 24X CDRs (blue/sliver).

There are two different pricing - $19.99 and $24.99, make sure you pick the 19.99 one.
>>

My friend and I spent about 15 mins looking around for the $19.99 pack, but all we saw were $24.99.
Maybe, I need to try different Fry's.

This is a very a hot deal. Confirmed at Fry's in San Diego. The deal is over tomorrow according to the salesperson I spoke with. I was there Wednesday morning and picked up 2 spindles and there is a large display there fully stocked. Zero ATHotDeal effect down here so far. I think I will go back tomorrow and grab a couple more spindles because of my squirrell tendencies. Thanks for the heads up. 😉😱
SKU #2894074 original price $19.99 CD-R Spindle Silver/Blue

Price 1 @ $ 8.49 x2 = 16.98
Tax 1.32
Total Due 18.30

Fry's in Arlington has TONS! Right out front there is a display of these. One is stacked with the $24.99 ones and one is stacked with $19.99 ones. I bought 20 packs (yes 20, I can't pass up a hot deal)... There are also some on the CDR isle (up top). I told about 10 people about how these are $8.49 (Most of them were grabbing the GQ ones that were on sale for $9.99 - generics). When going through the register the guy couldn't believe the price and wanted to limit me. I asked where the limit was stated and he couldn't answer since they weren't advertised. This is a hot deal considering I almost bought 500 generics for more than this last week.

I picked up 10 spindles about 3 hours ago in the Fremont Fry's (AT forum was down when I wanted to come back and reply in this thread)

They were mixed with the multi-colored packs so I had to sort through them. I figured that there were probably about 10-15 spindles left at the time I picked them up. Good deal! Thanks PSYWVic!

My friend bought some of these a couple of weeks ago...

He has a Yamaha 16x10x40 Firewire drive and he had problems burning at 16x using the Fuji's. He used a Memorex and it worked. The Fuji's aren't exactly blue...more a bluish green coating. They were made in Japan (TY?).

Great deal on these tho...

Damn it man! I went there around 5pm today, and like took a few up to the cash register , and they rung up at $19.99! Then I went to the sales guys, and same thing, and they said like the deal was over? Ended yesterday? Doesnt make any sense. I wonder if they match receipts? Also, anyone here in the Fountain Valley area? Can confirm this deal as of 6pm today or later? Also, if anyone getting it tonite at Fry's in San Diego, tell me what's going on ! LOL

I picked up 5 spindles at the Fremont store earlier today. They have a display next to the modem aisle, it's a pallet full of them. No prob picking out spindles from there.

Anyone tried to pricematch Bestbuy to get it for $1.50 after $7 rebate ? That would be a killer deal, but then again, you can only buy one/household at this price.

no way, i was there about the same time hehe. they have a pallet of em on the ground near the tech repair area.. i estimate atleast 2 hundred spindles... nutty

Deal dead in San Diego also ... picked up some this morning for $8.49... went back for more after 6:00PM and price had been changed back to $19.99.

deal dead in Sacramento. All i saw were the 24.99 ones. didn't bother going up to the register and checking with em. They were the multicolored ones. I hate you all that got to Fry's before me today =P

Yup, I hate those that grab all the goods too, myself included 😛

Just got back from City of Industry Fry's....grabed one....didn't see much left....I had to look into the shelf to find it.....good luck.....

Bought another four spindles this evening at Sunnyvale Fry's, 🙂
there are still many left. (they are not on the regular CDR shelf but all stack near the speaker place.😉

Haha I guess I didn't see that pallet, I just went straight towards the CD-R aisle picked out 10 and put them in my hand basket. I brought them to an idle computer associate and asked him to run the PLU number through the system to make sure of the price. Once confirmed I headed straight to the registers, paid and left. I didn't look around because I didn't want to spend any more than I had to 😉

Well, the first thing I did this morning after getting up was to drive to Sunnyvale Fry's and to pick up 4 bundles of Fuji CDRs. Then, I noticed that at zone.com, it was on-sale for 30 cents per pieces for a while until 40 cents recently. Then, I have searched on-line for silver/blue CDRs. It seems that they are the No. 2 good quality type of CDRs although some brands have compatibility problems. Don't know the quality for Fujifilm though.

There were plenty at the Fremont Fry's. Picked up 6 spindles for 51 plus tax. Don't know why I did this. I must have close to 1000 blanks. 😕
Thanks for the post, I know plenty of people that can use them.

well someone said that it ended tommrow, so u might still be able to get in it😛 i doubt they ran out. 🙂

my first taiyo yudens.. now i'll be able to archive porn for future generations🙂

Thanks for the heads up about this deal being dead already. I was planning on going back later today Thursday to get a few more packs. 🙁 At least I was able to get in on this deal while it lasted 😀. Thanks again for the heads up PSYWVic.
