The (2) sticks I got were both MT or Micron chips. Sorry to hear that Crucial were using other vendors chips!:Q
Got mine shipped to my door today, samsung chip, disappointed..... BB charged me $80 something and is going to refund me the price difference and H@S, but no rebate.... disappointed. Didn't put it on yet, a little worried about its' quality since I'm running now a real crucial wit micron chip from newegg. Sign!
Get this! I got the raincheck for the DDR memory back in December because of course they ran out super fast. I have waited since then, calling and going by to see if it was in stock yet. No luck. Then on Wednesday night I went by and they had some Crucial DDR! It was all Samsung chips. But I figured DDR is better than nothing so I got one. They even matched it to the $24.99 price after MIR in the ad (which I kept for just such purpose). On the shelf the sticker said $69.99. I get up front to pay for it and it rang up as $89.99! Then the price adjustment took it down to $24.99. What a HOT DEAL!!! But wait, it gets better?the cashier didn?t keep the raincheck! So I went back today and got another stick! YES! The guy didn?t want to match the ad price of $24.99 this time but I pushed because they were out of stock when the ad price was in effect and the rebate is long over. So he got it approved and I went up front and checked out. This time the cashier kept the raincheck. 
Besides the board I am upgrading to only supports 2 DDR sticks anyways. So now I am going to order an ECS K7S5A and Athlon XP 1600+ from Newegg. So long SDRAM! Hello DDR!

well, they have one locked up for me, but the problem is they wont pricematch it down to $34.99 unless i have an ad, because accorindg to their systems, it has "never been $34.99" i didnt keep the ad though!
i have till the 25th of this month (raincheck kept alive) to produce the ad to pricematch...any help is MUCH appreciated!! they said they will accept photocopy/printouts. tia!

my order was canceled....but after finding out that they still carry the product...I called and filed a complain......just got an e-mail back from them....says they will not honor my order......does anyone has any luck....?

Keep complaining. Don't speak to a CSR. Politely give them your name and telephone number and then ask to speak to a supervisor. Keep track of every person you talk to and when. Keep track of case numbers. I am on my 5th case with them and I am not going to let this drop. Now they are trying to tell me that the RAM at that price was limited to stock on hand. Funny, the ad doesn't state that, nor does it say no rainchecks.

BrianA, I am going through the same thing. I filed a complaint with the BBB, it takes up to two weeks for a response. They tried to tell me that they dont pricematch special promos; it isn't a special promo, its an advertised special. I am trying to get in contact with tacoma99, he posted in another thread that his was backordered the whole time and received his the 12th of Jan or around there. If he could send us a copy, scan or fax or anything of the shipping statement the bbb said that would be VERY favorable for me/us.

According to the FTC the unavailability of the product violated Sec. 238.3 c of the CPA. It states that: (c) The failure to have available at all outlets listed in the advertisement a sufficient quantity of the advertised product to meet reasonably anticipated demands, unless the advertisement clearly and adequately discloses that supply is limited and/or the merchandise is available only at designated outlets,
