What I found a bit odd was how long it took for ISIS to claim responsibility. This attack is going on and they are applauding it via social media. Then the next day they announce responsibility? Why the time lapse?
The key news is that one of eight attackers was a Syrian-passport holder who arrived in Greece on Oct. 3 on a boat from Turkey, and then was registered as seeking asylum in Serbia on Oct. 7, according to various reports. So far, the Serbian interior ministry has identified the man only as “A.A.,” but his actual identity is nominally relevant.
Some flea-brained gnat in this very thread (I will not name him) said it was a physical impossibility that ANY of the attackers were Syrian refugees.
Obama is NOT shutting down the flood of refugees from Syria, although governors are now starting to.

I suspect the next move is to diminish him as just one of eight.
"He wasn't important"
"They could have done it without him"

Only time will tell who all the people are in the end, but it would certainly stand to reason that France letting in Syrian refugees was likely not a major component of this attack if seven of the eight people involved weren't Syrian refugees, no?
that France letting in Syrian refugees was likely not a major component of this attack if seven of the eight people involved weren't Syrian refugees, no?
But if it turns out that hiding amongst refugees has now become a common tactic for the terrorists and it is creating a major security problem in and of itself, taking in more refugees will be a tough sell.
No it was not a major component AT ALL, in the same way as none of the 9/11 attackers had been a refugee.
Since they don't know the origin of most of the attackers at this point, you have zero reason to draw this conclusion, just as others have zero reason to draw the opposite conclusion.
Actually they do know the origin of most of the attackers.
1. Bilal Hadfi Belgian resident - dead
2. Ahmad al Muhammad (false name) came in with Syrian refugees - dead
3. Samy Amimour French native - dead
4. Ismael Omar Mostefai French citizen - dead
5. Ibrahim Abdeslam French citizen - dead
6. Salah Abdeslam Belgian born French national - on the loose, is a suspect
7. Identity unknown
I suspect the next move is to diminish him as just one of eight.

Oh our poor President Obama.
Taking all the heat.
Only republican retardation with their tossed in flawed ideology could have destabilized the middle east so effectively, so thoroughly, and now republicans turn it all around to blame someone else?
Beginning to see a trend here?
This ALL goes directly BACK to the GW Bush and VP Dick Cheney administration.
The very administration many of YOU voted for. TWICE!
(stage direction: look down, tail between the legs)
As with the economy, where it was then up to Obama to fix the economy and get people working again, Obama is expected to once again use his magic fairy dust to fix the terrorist rats nest that Bush and VP Cheney have created.
And remember too, the republican house and senate has done NOTHING to help this president even if Obama had the magic fairy dust to eliminate terrorist and ISIS.
Our republican congress would NEVER go along simply because it would NOT be in their best interest.
But mine you, defeating Obama "is" in their best interest.
And their ONLY interest.
GW really screwed things up, really bad, terribly bad, for everyone.
And now, no one cares to link those failed Bush-Cheney policies over in the middle east to events of today.
And God forbid all we need now are more of the same old republican war ideology to supposedly win out against terrorism?
GW and VP Dick. The gift that just keeps on giving... and giving... and giving....
PS. And YES this is exactly the right time to lay the blame, point the fingers.
Because if one cannot determine where they went terribly wrong in the past (as a nation), one can never solve the problems of the future.
Next time any republican candidate goes on TV slam blasting Obama or giving "their" solution as feasible, simply piss on your TV.
Maybe, just maybe that will get through to them?
That old trickle-down theory.
Like I said in another thread, when does the threat of middle eastern sourced terrorism warrant the complete annihilation of the region?
At what point does the terrorism threaten the very existence of our society?
Of our way of life?
Could it become necessary to wipe huge sections of the middle east completely off the face of the earth?
oh our poor president obama.
Taking all the heat.

---snip---
So it's GW's fault and the actions of America that caused France to get attacked by terrorists?
