Deadly Shootings, Explosions In Paris

French police officials are reporting a shooting in a restaurant and an explosion near a stadium in Paris, according to The Associated Press.

It is not clear whether the two incidents were connected.Police told Agence France-Presse that at least 18 people were killed in the attacks.

French journalist Stefan de Vries said on Twitter that several grenades had exploded and that gunshots could be heard.

This is a developing story and will be updated...

Apparently the explosion was at a Mcdonalds near a stadium where the French National Team is playing.. and some hostages are at a nightclub.

Terrorism most likely.

Updated to say 2 suicide bombers blew themselves up at a McDonalds outside the stadium where the French President was attending a French team game.

And there was a shootout at a nightclub and there are hostages there.

I'm pretty sure this has everything to do with ISIS. My armchair analysis is this attack was being planned for sometime but may have been moved up as retaliation for the airstrike that killed Jihadi John.
