How the fck do you guys breath in while lifting the weight? When I breath in and lift at the same time, the difficulty increases immensely. It feels like all of my strength is taken away.

What gives?

Why would breathe in while lifting any sort of weight? It has always been taught that you should exhale on the movement. There's also the Valsalva maneuver in which you hold your breath for extra muscle tension and proprioceptive cues.

Oh, then I've been doing it right then. I thought I read somewhere that you should breath in when doing the heavy part of the lift. That makes me feel better, thanks!
