I waited 2 weeks to have my item shipped then i called and it still wasnt shipped. That is not very good business




Im just worried I'll be waiting forever......the endless night before christmas.... they are obviously aware of the pricing issue but no one has reported an order cancellation or any company contact....will it ever happen or will they just hold our money until we call and ask for it back?

hopefully it wont happen since those dates are 1 yr/2 yrs ago

it probably won't happen. but doesnt' mean that they will honor the price mistake either..

Actually what I am using this for is to see just how fast their system responds.

Seeing that they cannot even tell me it is cancelled by now speaks volumes about how shoddy their operation is. I expect the order to be cancelled but for it to take this long to tell me? I can just imagine what happens to orders that are obviously without issues.

Someone should call today. It isn't like they DON'T know there was a price mistake, and at least that will give us some sort of idea of what they are going to do.

Maybe they don't have a mass e-mail system set up and they have to respond to people e-mail address by e-mail address. A cancellation notice would get pasted into each one, but the guy doing the e-mails still might be limited to 120/hour (2 per minute). If they received 20,000 individual orders it might take a while.

Just got off the phone with a sales rep, he says they received hundreds of orders for these CPUs that they can't possibly fill and therefore they will not ship. I asked to cancel and he said they are manually doing so via a phone call, so I should expect one later today.

Ah well.

Ever the optimists. I can't believe that some of you are still in denial and thinking that there is a chance you will actually get this deal! It will not happen. It WAS a price mistake. They WILL NOT honor it and take a $100/order loss!

They said they would sell it at their cost, $319, but with shipping thats still 329, and you can get it on newegg shipped right now for $322.

I'm just being realistic. Some people here would lead people on thinking that there is a chance that they would honor these prices. The fact is that they will not. There is no way it is going to happen. Not 'maybe', not 'if you are lucky', not anything. IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. I'm just tired of people thinking that they are going to get these at this price just so the company can save face. Not gonna happen. Every website has made price mistakes, but none of them are going to throw away tens of thousands of dollars just to look good. Give it up, move on.
