If Bush knowlingly lied about WMD in Iraq, he would know full well that none would be found, making him look bad. Why wouldn't he just go and "plant" the evidence of WMD after the invasion?

As choatic is it is now, and was during the invasion, it would have been pretty easy to hide a few suit case bombs, or a warhead, maybe even some spent uraninium tubes, just to have them "found" later. He comes out looking good, USA, gets to say 'told ya so o the rest of the world. Definately would be a whole lot easier (for the admin) then the current situation.

A "suitcase bomb" (ala "Wag the Dog") or a warhead? Spent uranium "tubes"?

Items such as you mentioned are easily identifiable. Now imagine that the Fool actually did try to plant some evidence and got caught in the act or later after the items were inspected. As unbelievable as it may seem, the Fool would then be in even worse shape than he's in now.

it is sad to see so many people still support Bush. At best he made a huge mistake which cost the lives of thousands or at worst he lied and cost the lives of thousands. Either way thousands died because of him.

WTF does Clinton have to do with any of this? I love it how the right bring up Clinton anytime Bush comes under fire.

I hope Americans wake up and see where our country is going.

It may be too late for Americans to wake up. Many times coma leads to death.

One of the things I like most about the most blind is that they have a way of expressing exactly the core of the issue rather than being too shrewd to hide it. In the following cw post we see this:

Right... people who think the war isn't going well obviously think Bush LIED

BBond, you and people like you will find success in some places -like Europe- but will never gain a foothold here in the US. You see, Americans see themselves as good, decent people... and as long as a major plank in your vitriolic mental spasms includes tearing them down and insulting them continually for not agreeing with you, you'll be properly cast aside like a $2 whore.

The bolded expresses the real issue. Those Americans who have the most trouble seeing our faults and those Americans for whom the ability to admit to faults is the most attenuated, those people, in other words, whose self loathing, hidden from consciousness, is most pronounced, these are the people for whom a false identity in nationalism has become the biggest substitute for real inner self respect. These are the people who never look inside and always look out there. These are the die-hard defenders of Nationalism and their country wherever they live. They fear, unconsciously, that the admission of any fault will unravel the whole false fabric and they will be left naked in the light, ridiculed again as they were as children. It does not matter to them how many must die to protect their image. Anything but that interior living hell and remembering. They are this way because inwardly they were made to feel like a $2 whore and why they suggest you are.

You are correct but since these "types" are not capable of true self-examination they will ignore your post.
Further, to be fair, it would be interesting to read your general psychoanalysis of the left.

They moralize and criticize because they are too afraid to admit the truth and face the pain that the truth brings.

The first thought that jumped to mind is the possible belief that people you help will be grateful or that people value what is free. They will crucify you as soon as the goodies stop and they will sh!t on what you have given. You cannot give to others to relieve your own self hate or that of others. The left needs to learn how to give, when to give, and why.

I'm watching this for the first time now. I feel like putting my head through a wall. :| :| :| :|
Me too, watched it on TiVo tonight. I don't know how anyone with even an ounce of objectivity could watch that and not conclude BushCo lied to get us into Iraq. Much of it is old information, but it's especially compelling when you hear it all packaged together, coming directly from people with first hand information.

I also think it's sad CNN waited until after the election to do this story, and even then were the first to do anything so comprehensive. Pretty well kills that "liberal media" canard, in my opinion.

I'm currently watching this

and wow, they were soooooooooo blooooooooooody hell wrong, and no chance in hell that this was a mistake, this was deliberate, if not then alot of people lacked whole brains for normal thinking

but I must say, I have found new respect for Powell, it will be an interesting book he will write in the next 5-10 years
