Got mine for $198.86 - 15% coupon - 5% "Colleague" coupon from FW for a total of $38.28 in discounts/coupons. Added tax of $10.44 for a total of $171.02 shipped

Doesn't seem like you have to go through Dell Small Business. I saw the same price (with rebate) searching on regular Dell site. Which means no tax.

(Or was the advantage to s.b. that it's free shipping? Seems like you get eaten on tax.)

i ordered the OEM ...hopefully the rebate will cover this. under "business name" i put my small LLC business. would it have mattered if i put any name? also i put that I do NOT have exempt status. therefore my total was $168.01. still not bad if im going to get the rebate (im not complaining)...just curioius shoudl i have done this a different way to save more money?

im also debating cancelling this and getting the retail version to ensure i get the rebate ;/

I have encountered Dell's rebate slipperyness in the past and have always resolved any problems with one phone call.

isn't DELL obligated to cover the rebate if they advertised it with the SE model? I went with the SE.

I predict them delivering OEM drives, followed by a barrage of pissing and moaning, then a direct $100 refund after calling.

Weeee....

Maybe, but they have done so in the past 3 times for me when they messed up.

umm .. does anyone have a copy of the rebate request form in pdf? The link doesnt work anymore at the dell website
THANKS!! I REALLY WANT THIS DRIVE 🙂

Just ordered another one:

Sub-Total $198.86

Discounts -$29.83

Shipping1 $6.00

Shipping
Discount1 -$6.00

Tax1 $8.45

Total Price1 $177.48

Great deal... Rebates from Dell and WD are quite fast. Its better to go with the retail drive in my opinion.

What bothers me a little is the end of the URL..... refurbished=
although the = has no value ????????????
Must be from using the search, duh me
still can't get the stinking pdf rebate.

Yes, I'd like a copy of it too. I wonder if anyone has actually seen that part of it? I checked WD's site and saw nothing there.

I did save a copy of the page to my desktop, so that if there's a problem I can at least read everything out verbatim should I need to call them.

I predict it will work out OK once the rebate form finally gets posted, and if not - as mentioned - one call will do it. Worst case the order simply gets cancelled or returned.

I went through SB and it was about $168-ish total, even that's "about right", and I was looking for one of these anyways...

No not refurbished. It was like that last time dell had this drive for sale. You havent been on the dell deals lately huh? You're lucky!
Whats with dell and all these deals lately! Every other day there is a new one and they are HOT too!
