Careful, Dell laptops are kind of weird. For the Inspiron 1100 that I have now, I couldn't use the ram I got at best buy, even though they are the exact same specs as the stick already in there, I had to get a stick of Dell ram off of eBay. Apparently you don't HAVE to use Dell ram, but some brands seem to be incompatible

checked ebay for 700m RAM and nothing came up but 512mb sticks. Anyone know if it is the 200pin that goes in the 700m? The link is found above for the exact stick i am looking to purchase.

my 700m is coming today (19th)

says origin scan is from mesquite, tx on 18th.. billing info received 16th... order placed and built 13th.. so maybe the assembly was done in the US? either way it'll be here! 🙂
 
I had a 700M. Loved it initially because it was so darn small and cute, but I have medium sized hands and they felt cramped typing most of the time. Moved up to a i6000, and I love this laptop...big keyboard and huge handrests. I want to try a 9300, but I'm against buying a laptop I can't pick up comfortably with one hand.
 
already bought 256mb from crucial... it actually came in yesterday... just awaiting a laptop to be placed in...laptop still in a truck driving around town
