How did you get the Inspiron 6000 to include a 1.60 GHz processor? I only see 1.50 GHz as an option.

But the 2nd from left doesnt allow you to choose the 128MB DDR ATI's MOBILITY? RADEON X300 PCI Express x16 Graphics as far as I can tell, only has integrated as an option.
I see now that if you choose the system thats the 2nd from the right you have a lot more options in customizing it, and you can choose 1.60 GHz processor and the radeon x300 video card.

The 6000 comes is 2 flavors. One with a integrated GPU and one with a dedicated GPU such as the ATI X300
The 128 MB X300 will run games pretty good. Don't plan on setting the games on high or anything like that.
If one were to purchase the 9300. The 6800Go would be a better choice and worth the money to upgrade. It will also help in the resale value.

That's the same link dartworth gave. Again, there is a chance it may work, but most likely it will not, as the coupon is not supposed to work with special configurations.
How easy is it to add a second stick of ram to a 700m? Dell says only one slot is user accessible, so should I be worrying about now being able to add a second stick of RAM?
Well, for one if you just order one stick on your comp you should have access to the other one, if not I heard its pretty simple, its under your keyboard and a few screws will do the trick...

Im upgrading 1.6 to 1.8 since it's only $100, you cant really switch out the CPU so might as well get the better one, though I dont think the $300 upgrade for the 2.0 is worth it, you can always get a dvd burner another time.
And about the warranties, I'm not sure about those since Ive never bought one for a computer. If you can afford it get the extended regular warranty, I think you are even able to get the warranty after your purchase the computer but Im not sure on that.

Yeah, I guess you're right about the processor upgrade. 1.8GHz it is.
Actually I think you're right on being able to purchase the warranty after the actual computer purchase. Expensive stuff, that warranty is. So would it mean that theoretically you could drop the thing, then buy the accidental coverage afterwards, and send it in under warranty?

Oh yeah, this has probably been answered a thousand times, but am I correct in assuming that if the actual computer doesn't reach 1500, I can add in a filler like a mouse to boost it up to 1500, and still have the coupon work?

Somebody brought up an interesting point earlier that may have been looked over...When you look at the hard drive options(at least on the 9300), they all say 4200 rpm except the 60 gb 7200 rpm.
When you go to "Parts for your Dell" they have a similar selection only they are all 5400 RPM. (except the 60gb 7200, and the 100gb @ 4200)
Is dell really using 4200 RPM or just downplaying it to get you to upgrade??
