With Outpost, some will ship, and the rest will be backordered/cancelled. It's how they work, due to their lack of real time inventory status.

Actually, I just took a look at reseller ratings on Outpost.com (http://www.resellerratings.com/seller1773.html) and I'm a little shocked. I was a very loyal customer since the beginning (remember the mouse/cannon and wolves/marching band commercials!) but I have not being buying much of anything from anyone lately. It saddens me when a company goes downhill. I spent a couple thousand with them over the last few years.

Anyway, if you do not get your card I recommend you write the BBB, your state attorney general, and post on reseller ratings. I placed my order over the phone, not the web, and SPECIFICALLY asked if they were in stock and if it would ship tomorrow. If they tie up my credit card and don't ship tomorrow I will make a stink. I urge you to do the same. That said, if I do get the card as contracted, I will sing their praises!

{edit} Mine is saying shipped and should be here Wednesday, I never did get any kind of confirmation via email. $269.56 2nd day. Thanks for the deal post and thanks Outpost!

The problem with Outpost is their non-real time inventory tracking. I am sure they had some in stock..how many--who knows? But a lot of the orders placed through the web will be cancelled because it was after they were OOS, but there is no way for us to see that. You'd think they'd move up to the 21st century and have real inventory tracking.

One thing about Outpost is they usually honor their prices, this is from my own personal experience. We'll see if this deal goes through. It is still advertised on their homepage. I placed an order a little while before I posted and it is supposed to be here Tuesday. I've never actually had a problem with them, oh well there's a first time for everything.

lol...Now I'm regretting posting it . I hope everyone gets one though. Good luck to all.

Where did you find a GT for $339?

Didn't finish reading the thread so please forgive me if someone already said this. The $339 GT can be found on NewEgg, but it is a scaled down version. Let me get a link. Text

DON"T FREAKING CALL!!!!!

oh please what are you, some noob from fatwallet? calling doesn't do anything to deals. paranoid freak.

First of all, chill down a little dethman. The guy has a point. Any person who visits this forum on a regular basis can tell you why calling almost certainly kills a deal. Most deals like this are price mixups, and calling them just allerts them all the faster to the problem, that's why calling is a sure way of killing a hot deal like this.

Not that the 500 incomming orders per hour would alert them either. But yeah, I spose the company might lose more money if it was an actual misprint & no one called.

I was 5 minutes away, had it in my cart at $259.99 for a good while before I finally got a hold of a CC. Then it popped up to orig price, and I was mighty pissed. I at least could have gotten an order in and argued to wait for the next shipment even if they didn't have stock. In fact, I'm so pissed I'm now raping my gaming rig into a Celeron Internet box.

Edit2: They had 60 in stock, 196 orders were placed. I guess we can all do the math, but for those of us that can't this means 30% will probably get a card.

Doesn't look ood for me, I ordered around 7 EST and you posted at 5:30 EST.

I'm guessing it is first come, first serve

It was posted on fatW at 5 EST, so I'm, guessing people who ordered in the first 45 minutes got them

Check sometime this afternoon, probably around 4pm eastern. The wait.....I really do hope some ATers get in on this.

Thanks deldd,

I ordered less than 20 minutes after you posted, my order went through at the $249 price (plus tax and shipping, of course) so here's to hoping it all goes through. I think we would've seen cancels by now if it weren't going through.

I was going to save up and buy an XT, but at almost $200 cheaper than an XT, I think I'll be happy with a pro. (if this goes through)
