So far it looks like they have been the hs/f's fault. I wonder if any ppl are getting dead T-Breds from too high of voltage....

good thread here...I was waiting for this myslef as an intel user but an avid ocer... was wondering how amds .13 offering was able to achieve such high vcore with little initial effect...
When you look at it:
P4 northwood = 1.5v default and 1.85v being dnager...my damaged not death of a 1.8a happened at 1.83v...It still overclocked 425mhz the day I removed it....
AMD Tbred(.13) = 1.6v default and 1.95v being the magic number I see here and 2 other cases I have seen...
What does this say??? It seems as AMD chips take a bity more but the delta is very similar o the damage threshold og the p4.....It is too early to tell for sure but I do see many reference they do not want to gover 1.85v which would be like a p4 user not going over 1.75v. The 1.75v has been a recognized warning area for quite some time now and it seems to limit damage to the p4's...
The main thing is actual vcore...Are those 1.95v the bios set vcore or actual idle and load vcore???
