This is hawt if you don't already have it; I think I paid $150 for my set (original silver cardboard box release) used from fleabay some years back.

This is a great deal. I got one even though I'm not that interested in having the DVD's, just because it's worth more than the cost and 'nice to have' or a possible gift.

This is a phenomenal deal. I remember waiting with rapt anticipation for the opportunity to plunk down $85 a season when these first came out (and that was with the massive pre-order discount from the regular $150 price).

Yup. Didn't the original Star Trek sell for $40 list for 2-episode VHS?

Is the website not loading for anybody else? I've clicked it 5 times over the last hour now and it never loads. Even tried going to www.gohastings.com and no luck. Makes me sad :(

For UPC code 097361311722

This one say OOS and it's 544.99
http://www.gohastings.com/product/M...eration-The-Complete-Series/sku/263656347.uts

They have used for 344.99
http://www.gohastings.com/product/M...eration-The-Complete-Series/sku/280143058.uts

The one that is selling for 69.99 is a different UPC code 097361311746
http://www.gohastings.com/product/M...eration-The-Complete-Series/sku/243925230.uts

That UPC code has a used set for 46.99 and it is OOS

Yeah, and the original series DVDs weren't much better. And if I recall correctly, the studio did something truly insane like issuing an individual episode or two every month or so before finally getting things straight and issuing an entire season boxed set.

it's worth full price as it is anyway heheh, if you love TNG of course

it is an extremely costly box set.

$67 would have been a steal if you could snag it at that.

Has anyone dealt with gohastings.com before? That price is very tempting -- but it does seem too good to be true.

this is a bit off topic, but my take on it is that if it's a con job, the product would never go out of stock...

Not wanting to ruin this for anyone but whenever TNG complete series has been priced this low it has always been a bootleg. So don't be surprised when you get a region free set instead of the real deal. The genuine product is region one.

Waiting to hear back on anyone actually getting this before I go ahead and purchase it.

Any feedback yet from someone who's placed and received an order?

I ordered and got an e-mail saying it's going to ship, but it's OOS for new orders.

Personally I really don't care what region it's from so long as it's retail and stamped not bootlegged and burned.

Guess we'll see how this one plays out . . . . Your Move Hastings
