So true...they don't have to have auto save ALL the time, but particularly for things like this when you have no idea you're about to fight a boss they really should save it then for you.
I finally finished the demo. The first time I failed and didnt get the last piece of the motorcycle. I got it all the second time, but i wouldnt have been able to had i not already known where to go and what to do. It seems almost impossible to beat it on the first try in the small amount of time they give you without cheating. I dont like that and i hope the real game gets rid of the time limit.
The save system i could get used to even if i dont like it. The timer I will never like and if its in the main game i dont think ill get this one. It just takes the fun of roaming around and playing with weapons out of the game.
If the full game is anything like the first game, there will be an overall "you have 3 days to get to da choppa!" and the rest can be ignored. I think that ended up working very well because you had a time limit to finish a mission the game continued if you failed (with exception to the service tunnel mission). You had a very long time to just sit around and play and still complete the missions. Even doing the "perfect" ending you still had plenty of down time to mess around and kill some psychopaths.
