So what's the item # for the PC133? Also, how to know if it's compatible with the 256MB of Crucial currently in my machine?

The Item # is 755841. I can't comment on compatibility. Can you tell me what chipset/cpu you have and the type of memory the Crucial stick is?

Out in my area. How do I enter another zip code to check other local stores?

If you are writing down the coupon code and taking that to the store thay don't have to accept those coupon codes because they are on-line or phone orders only coupon codes not for use in store, but some store managers let people use these code sometimes.

I placed all 3 online with a CC. They all went from waiting to fill to some type of deleted. The first, 2 weeks ago, was in-store, they cancelled it. The next 2 this week, 1 in-store and 1 delivery, they called me and cancelled.
Maybe your account has been targeted for some reason, have you tried creating a new account?

Update, Went to retreive my stick yesterday and was told I could have either
the Rebate or the Coupon not both, the guy wouldn't budge and couldn't
offer an explanation that made any sence. So I printed the rebate when I got
back home.

I just tried the in-store purchase and the woman was very crappy and all upset saying she had been cancelling orders all morning and that there was an "illegal investigation" going on because all the coupon codes were made up. When I asked her why the computer accepted a made up invalid code she said something about someone stealing them so she might have just been confused. I placed a web order but if they route them through the store I guess I'm still SOL.

Odd. I just hung up from a phone order with coupon code. All went fine. I'm due to pick it up later on today for $32.15.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Edit: Picked it up with no problems. Might order another. :)
I think it is my store. Any way I try to order, it is coming from them and they are the ones with the problem. One funny thing, they cancelled my RAM, but I got paper clips for -$0.69 today... A 3"x2"x1" box in a 18"x12"x8" box shipped via UPS. Genius.
Just got back from OD and they gave me guff about not having the coupon. "We need it for security reasons and cannot release the merchandise".
LOL, I know what you mean, although I usually return most of them to the store, but this FAR phone is a 2.4GHz cordless] model.
How do you do that? How do you return the phones to the store and still keep your coupon?
A 2.4ghz cordless phone is nice, but I try to avoid the 2.4ghz range because my wireless LAN operates on that frequency and I don't need any added interference.
When you return a item to OfficeMax they calculate what percent of the coupon amount covers the item you are returning then deduct that from the price of the item, if you used a $20 off $100 coupon on a $100 total and returned a $25 item you would get back $20 for that item. I have already done that about 5 or 6 times.
Really? They wouldn't take much off of the coupon then if you returned the $10 phone. I think I'd rather do that and get a partial coupon than keep another $10 corded phone. Thanks for the tip.
BTW.. I got a can of Endust compressed air in my shipment. It came with no packaging on it and the UPC is painted on the metal can. How am I supposed to get the UPC off of the can?
New OD receipt always shows in this way. You got percentage for each item. When you retutrn it. You percentage coupon. At least, that's my B&M receipt shows.
May not work for everyone.
But I couldnt get it online (no listing-no way to get into basket).
So I put something in my cart (that was instore/instock). Then choose "Instore Pickup". Yadda yadda - availibility confirmed.
*THEN* I added 755841 to my cart by item number, and it showed up, with right price, and instock. Added coupon, deleted other item, and it worked. Picked up without a hitch.
If you look it the rebate form it shold tell you to write down the UPC code on a piece of paper and send that in with the rebate form.
Hey Insomniac, lemme know if you ever find a deal on some, and I'll do the same for you. Seems us late adopters are getting left behind.
Are there still PC2700 DDR333 chips inside the PC2100 DDR266 packaging floating around? Just curious...
Thanks.
