I just received a brand new "NU" 17" LCD for my birthday and I was ecstatic until I turned it on for the very first time. There is one dead pixel in pretty much the dead center of my monitor. I've tried playing games with it hoping that I would eventually not notice it but being the fact that it's right in the middle, as much as I try to ignore it, it still sticks out like a sore thumb.
Now I've read a while ago about some kind of program that immitates a 1x1 pixel of the adjacent one that you can literally "click and drag" over the dead pixel. Does anyone know if that even exists?
If not, what are my other options? No return because Newegg doesn't replace it unless it has 8 or more.
I don't want to have to live with this thing...
Edit: Typo.
