My first statement just closed on chase.com and the 200 rewards points were immediately available. Just cashed them in on a $250 check. Can't beat this deal, the only one matching it is the Amex $250 offer for the business cards (so far).

Good to hear. I checked over at FW and 99% of people are getting their 200 points in their account with no issues. What a deal!

Highwire.... it clearly says DEAD at the beginning of the post and has for a while now.

I got my card today, I called them Monday and canceled the original because it never arrived. Called and checked with them and the offer was "Chase Freedom Cash" and she verified that "upon completion of your first purchase (ie: first billing cycle)" I'll get the points worth $200.

I did not get the points after the first billing cycle. Currently on the phone with the CSR, will update how it turns out.

EDIT: The CSR said the reward points were dispersed in error too soon for a lot of people, but they caught it and I will have to wait two billing cycles for them to show. 🙁

So for all of those worried that have a card, made a purchase, and didn't get reward points, there you go.

I don't know if I buy that. I think the overwhelming response to their offer might have put a bit of a pinch on their balance sheet for the last month or two. At least, that's what I like to think. 😉

I'll wait happily for my wife and I's free $500, so long as we get it.

Weird, because when I called the CSR to verify the day I finally got my card, it was "When you complete your first purchase". One would think the first billing cycle is when you should get it.

And... wanted to add, I got my original card in the mail two nights ago. So for some reason it took them (USPS) over a month to get the original to me but it took less than a week to get my replacement card.

The skeptics were wrong, I just got the option for having a $250 dollar check mailed to me and it'll be here in a few weeks. I signed up about 5 weeks ago on the last day they were running this deal or something.

nice deal, I would have tried it if I would have seen it. I remember getting the $150 credit on a Sony card 4th quarter of last year. Easy money.

I was able to order and receive my 250 before even paying the 1st months bill! I'd say that's great service. With gas prices as long as you have the will power to pay the bill every month getting 3% back on gas will definitely help out. I just got an offer in the that gives me no interest till 06/08 plus $100 giftcard, I'm debating trying that one out too!
