DEAD: Left4Dead $15 on Steam! til Friday!

I can't believe I caved in on this one. I don't even like sci-fi shooters that much.

Oh well, for $15 it is cheaper than going to the movies, once!

This. I picked up TF2 at $10 and I suck...not too interested in something that I will be destroyed in when I play online. 😛
 
Single player and multiplayer are basically the same thing, except you can't play versus mode, and your teammates are semi-retarded AI bots instead of human players.

Of course, multiplayer is definitely more fun if you got some competent teammates with microphones.
 
LAN coop is fun. So is the Survival mode. And Versus mode is great when we have enough players. New 3rd party content has been showing up too. You should get your $15 worth, and then some.

"-lv" command line option reduces the on-screen gore.

Paid $15 about 6 months ago (game key dealer in eastern europe). 😀

Just play coop, there is a versus mode that pits people against each other, but I never play it, coop is plenty of fun tho.

most of my gaming buddies are in Europe and they usually go online when I go offline (or the other way around) because of the time difference 😛

I just want to make sure in case this happens I can rely on my "semi-retarded" 😀 bots...

Anyway, I'm convinced enough, I'll be getting it!
