How soon after you place the order can you use AMEX to pricematch and how long does it take for them to approve?
I'm worried that if I buy it from buy.com AMEX won't end up pricematching it to this place.

If anyone has received this product at the mentioned price please post ASAP. Bought a NEC 1530v a while ago for $220 after coupon+rebate and thought that was a hot deal but it just looks cold comparing to this one.

I don't have AMEX Gold, but I will still not buy anything from an unknown merchant. I know there are many stores out there selling refurb stuffs as brand new. I'll pass this time.

Well RoyalPC just cancelled my order.
When I called, the CS rep and Supervisor we're very unpleasant. They wanted to increase the charge from $200.00 to $369.95...they claim it was a typo.
Typo or not, there was no language to that effect and $200.00 was the price throughout the web site.
When was the last time I got to make a mistake and not be responsible for my mistake?
Well, RoyalPC obviously doesn't care about my business. They just said 'your order is cancelled and there is nothing we will do about it'.
When I asked to speak to an owner or manager Mark Ziaz said 'have a nice day' CLICK! and hung up!
I will never buy, or even attempt to buy from these guys again. Maybe this deal was too good, but thats their problem. What I know is the tone of voice and the attitude of the CS reps and supervisor tells me that I would receive bad treatment from RoyalPC in any purchase.

Gee, it's hard to believe there could possibly be a typo when you see language skills like this...
Regardless of what the RoyalPC webpage said earlier today, I'm sure the AMEX pricematch is dead-in-the-water---they're certain to check the current price at the RoyalPC site and then torpedo the deal. I cancelled my buy.com order. Hopefully the cancellation sticks before the box is shipped out...

I then faxed over the information to amex.
Sure, they may check it out and go to the page or even call them, but they may not be bothered with doing it too, and just accept the faxed print out. I won't know for at least another week or two.
In the meantime I'm just going to hold onto my LCD from buy.com which arrived yesterday. Though I wasn't home to get it, and try to find out as quickly as possible whether I will be getting refunded.
If not, I just return it back to buy.com within the time period.

Great that worked out for you. Mine hasn't shipped yet from goroyal, but hasn't been cancelled either. Anyone else get their order canceled or anything yet?
