Also, its on pricewatch. Run a search for '15" lcd' to find it. Its worth a shot at least.

I liked the deal and took a chance. I actually saw it on pricewatch. Kinda odd. But i'll be the guineau pig and tell everyone if this comes. Worst case, file a complaint with the CC company.

Company seems to be legit. Domain registered in 1997. However, there was next to no info. on the company on the webpage. There also wasn't any mention of whether the product is new or refurbished or whatever... Very strange.

Smart thing to do is to use it as a BVG pm if you still have an eligible Amex card. Buy.com has this for $416 or so w/ free shipping and no tax (to non-CA peeps).

ViewSonic added to its line of LCD monitors and is targeting different types of customers with specific features. The company debuted four new displays in its VG line aimed at small-business customers, four new monitors in its VX line for designers, and three new screens for its value VE line.

ViewSonic's VE line includes the $419 15-inch VE500, the $699 17-inch VE700, and the $879 18-inch VE800. Monitors in the VG line have higher levels of brightness than the VE line.

I'm so tempted to jump on this.... I hate Hot Deals!

Edit: Here's the VE500 product page @ Viewsonic. There's a slight discrepancy in the specs; Viewsonics lists this as 260 nits brightness, 450:1 contrast (vs 250/350 on Royal).

Terrible with warrenties. Bought a computer from them, I dont remeber when(but it was a p2 300 and it was top of the line, so several years ago). The thing was a piece of crap, and the monitor caught on fire. They wouldnt do a thing.
