got in for 2 before it died. why would OP post after the deal is declared dead is beyond me
 
I got an email from xpBargains at 930PM CDT and I didn't see it posted here at 10PM CDT. So, I posted it without even trying if it is dead or not. Just want to give you guys a good deal and somebody is complaining...
 
I'd love to see a similar deal for 2005fpw since that's really what I'm in the market for. 400$ for a box with PCI-e and windows with a 2005fpw... drool. Hell, give the box to my parents, maybe with a ram upgrade. $500 for a 2005fpw and two Xmas gifts. But I'm dreaming.
 
I got in on this, we shall see if they ship it or not. My order did get confirmed. 9100 2.8ghz, 512mb, 160gb harddrive - 2405FPW 24" LCD.... only $1001.34 out the door... Hope it ships!!!!!

I got the Small biz 9100 + 24" w/80GB disk for $1100 two weeks ago. 🙁

I'm not dissapointed, this monitor is awesome and I was due for a box upgrade, but this deal is er.. was killer @ that price plus I could have picked up a 17 or 19" additional LCD....

oh well.
 
but what do you guys do with the the rest:
assuming you only went for the 2405..
how much can you sell the rest of the stuff back?

meaning you basically paid the 2405 for than at how much?
 
The 9100 system by itself, will go from about $500-$700 on ebay. So you could have paid anywhere from $300-$500 for the 24".... and that is SMOKING HOT!!!
 
i was in when the deal was still alive. i checked the order status the next day and noticed that my order was cancelled. i will be calling up dell to get my order back or a concession coupon. 🙂
 
Well i called, and the lady treated me like an idiot for even thinking that they would let me have it. She said it was an invalid promotion. I told her, some invalid promotion, you had that deal up all day long. So she said, we can't sell computers for that cheap. I said, of course you can't but you sure can waste customers time in trying to buy computers off your website. Then she tried to offer me the same system for $1700, $700 more then what i had ordered it for... I laughed and she said goodbye....
 
just chatted with them for about an hour and received a $25 concession coupon. i decided to talk to another rep just for kicks he this time i received a $50 concession coupon. call me a greedy bitch if you like. 🙂

What did you talk about in a hour? What made the rep decides that they would rather give you the coupon?
 
i did it on the dell chat service so it would be a little longer than the phone. i said that they cancelled my order due to price error and if i could receive a concession coupon for the inconvenience.
