Sweetage

If you do the quick loan you can get an additional 3% back as well. Me, I just jumped and ordered one.

Edit: Credit to Honald who is the man at www.storagereview.com for turning me on to this deal.

Oops, had it 2100FP in the title, this is 2001FP - corrected

EDIT: 12/18/2003 - deal is currently dead - price up to $999. Glad I got my two :)

Got my confirmation already. I bought my 2000FP about a year ago on a quick reflex buy hot deal. I paid $805 for that shipped. This time the 2001FP cost me $802 shipped. Now on one hand, that isn't much of a price drop a year later. OTOH, this new model is faster and looks better than the old one.

Now I gotta think of a way to break this to my wife...

Yea I cant find the response time on dell.com either but I'm confident its still 16 ms as the review stated.

pprior: "his time the 2001FP cost me $802 shipped." why did it cost you 50+ bux to ship? Did you add something to the order or are you outside the US?

selene: "and i'm getting that ergo monitor arm to free up some desk space.. " what is that?

Thx,

Justin

Up until recently, US customers could only get this monitor with a new dell computer.

Finally its available standalone and at a hot price! I'm in. Just ordered. Now the wait begins :D

Great deal!

Couple questions tho:
any issues w/ calling yerself a *business*?
are sole proprietorships considered tax exempt?

Thanks for the post!

Wow I wish I had the money to get one of these. You guys spend a lot on monitors from what I've been hearing! I'll be fine with my 15" LCD for now...Nice deal anyway

Ouch to think that I got a 1901FP for $517.20 late August. Thinking if a 1" screen size difference and for $279 more would be reasonable. Tempted to use my Dell Preferred Account to get this.

BTW, what states besides Oregon do not pay tax with Dell Small Business?

I really want one of these, but I just can't justify it. I'm completely satisfied with my 2000fp. It's worth less than $650 used on eBay, so I would have to pay $150 or so to upgrade. Maybe next year.

Oregon is a no sales tax state...we dont pay sales tax on ANYTHING. I think that montanna is the other state that has no sales tax (not 100% sure). We pay higher property and income taxes though...

Correct, Montana does not pay sales tax. Some of the tourist towns have a 'tourist tax' of 3% but only in the town itself.

About the monitor, I was looking at this ever since anand did the review and decided this was going to be mine!!! I figured it would be a while before it went on sale, and now its here!!! This also seems like a great deal, I was on the verge of buying the samsung 191T for 630ish on newegg but when I saw this monitor was on the way, I waited. 800 shipped (with tax) is a great deal for a monitor this size and a speed of 16ms. (Should be good for gaming, or as good as a 17incher)

Does anyone think that dell will run any stackable coupons or should I catch this while its a deal? (The 25% is here until Dec. 10)

any active coupons that could be used on it?

don't have to say codes or anything - just is it worth looking?
