Clearly I was the first one who thought of it. Ever.

Edit: Looks like this comes with an AC adapter. (To answer my question above about PDA's only charging in the cradle)

I'm kind of curious - has anyone gotten a Zaurus SL-5500 to work with Sprint's new CF 2031 PCS Connection Card? It fits into a CF slot, so I thought there might be a way to get it to work.

Just my opinion, but Dr. Laura is about as far away from "hot" as a woman can possibly get.

Well i think this may be the perfect pda depending on what you wanted to do. We had a bunch of ipaq 3650's which we converted to linux ( www.handhelds.org). the qtopia environement is pretty neat

Screen Shots.

Hey you can even send your pda display to ur regular computer or ssh into your pda remotely. How many pda's can handle that.
Dunno if this link was already posted

so it sounds like the only really big draw is the "coolness" and "hackability" of linux on the zaurus. usually I would go for something like that, but when it's a tool I want to use to make my life simpler and help get organized, I think wince is a better route.

Edit: Hey! You can play Quake on this baby... a lil' buggy and slow, but w/e! Thanks for the deal!

No big deal, I have Quake on my HP Jornada. Runs pretty smooth, considering. Just use the PocketQuake shell and import your map files.

There's also a d-Link at Amazon.com for $40 after rebate. There's the $5 and $10 coupons that could make it sweeter. Its got built-in USB 2.0 ports, if they'd work with the OS, then it would be great...

i dont k now about netgear and d-link, but ambicom is a standard prism2 based wireless card. This means its supported out of the box by the kernel and kissmet.....I see no point in paying extra...

My problem with this is that I now own a Zaurus and a CF 802.11b card, but I can't find the right GPS addon. Ideally, I'd like to find a SD/MMC GPS card but all of the ones I can find are CF.
Anybody have any insight?

Note: For those of you out there familiar with wireless networks, I'm interested in wardriving. :)
