Is this really 128MB and I've just never heard it explained as 64 x 2 before? Forgive me but I'm not as tech savy as some of you guys.

Also, the package says lifetime warranty, so don't worry about the "99 yr" stuff on the website.

FYI therre are two 64MB PC800 modules in the package. They are single-sided and placed back-to-back in the packaging so it looks like one double-sided module. The discription on the K-Byte packaging is correct...

Kit contains Two 64MB Rambus Modules PC800 SKU# 4288336

Still a good deal if you only need to add an additional 128MB and have plenty of slots available.

Mine just came this morning.
Too bad that those are not 128MB modules.

I ordered 4 and was planning to combo that with the Compgeek Aopen board.
I wish they have a MB that have 8 slots that can takes all of the memory I got.

Anyway, this deal is still hot and thanks for the deal.

If anyone wants to sell me one of their kits that they got on this deal, let me know! I could use one of those 128MB kits! PM me, thanks!

I too would be interested in one of the 128M kits. If anyone has an extra or doesn't plan on using theirs, drop me a PM. Include your asking price, I don't like to make offers! Make it cheap! I love all you people that just bought them for resale! Those that really needed them get screwed.

Blowing up the picture. They seem to be 64mb samsungs pc800 45ns. That is still a very good price. Even if you only get one stick of 64.

fyi guys, i'm currently going back and forth with BB's customer service (ha!) dept. regarding them having an incorrect description. right now i'm trying to angle towards them exchanging the 4 i ordered for 2 of the pny 256 kits, as two of those would contain 4 128 megabyte modules, like i originally ordered. i don't expect them to do anything online, so i'll probably end up going down and yelling in store, but i figure online is worth a shot first.

anybody else fighting a similar battle please keep us updated

Weird, my order status is still saying "In Process" & then on the detail it says "Backordered." I'm coming up on 30 days since I ordered. I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever see these RAM sticks...

Even though it's not what I thought I was ordering...

Well, it looks like BB finally got them in stock. Anyone who rec'd 2x64mb instead of 1x128mb - any luck dealing with BB customer service?

I really wanted (and thought I was getting) 128mb modules. If they end up being a pair of 64mb modules, I'm just gonna ebay them. Here's the order shipping confirmation email (which AGAIN mentions that it's a 128mb module)...

Here's my bitch about it:

K-Byte 128MB Rambus Memory ? MODU50607
128MB of memory to improve performance; operates at a speed of 800MHz; 168-pin dual in-line memory module (DIMM)

a) 168pin??????????????\
b) Notice the word MODULE. Not MODULES.

In the PNY, they explain in the discreption that it is two 128mb sticks to make it 256mb. I have a feeling a few former managers now working at the corp hq are going to have a visit from me.
