I got in on this yesterday. I am looking forward to playing around with it. I've been meaning to experiment with Linux for years.

Ordered mine ~2 weeks ago, got it in the other day. Contains 3 DVDs. DVD 1A has: SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 8, Nterprise Linux Services 1.0, GroupWise 6.5.1, Red Carpet Enterprise Server 2.02, ConsoleOne and Linux Resources. DVD 1B has: SUSE Linux Professional 8.2 (32-bit only) and Ximian Desktop 2. DVD 1C has: SUSE Linux Professional 9.1 (32-bit only). I was hoping for the 64-bit version of SUSE Linux Pro 9.1 to be in the package, but I looked thru the entire 3rd DVD and can't find the 64-bit RPMs.

Why send SUSE Linux Pro. 8.2 and 9.1?

Ximian Desktop 2 requires SUSE 8.2, it don't work with 9.1

Also, any more info on the Eval. Versions? I'm looking through the media now, but can't see if its a time bomb or just user limit. (this would be the Novell products, i'm assuming SUSE stuff is not-time bombed)

Come to think of it, doesn't SUSE enterprise need a key or license file?

http://linuxiso.org/download.php/593/SUSE-9.1-personal-x86.iso is a copy of SUSE 9.1 Personal editon for LinuxISo_Org

http://www.linuxiso.org/download.php/590/LiveCD-9.1-01.iso is also a Live copy of SUSE 9.1. Means you can put it straight off the cd to try linux out without partitioning or installing.

Sorry for not linking it. Apperently they don't allow hot linking. Copy and paste the first one. For some reason it is automatically hot linking it. Editing it isn't helping. Go figure.

Hahahah.....

:D

(in case you aren't joking)
look here

This is the personal thought and not the professional edition. I got in and got my DVD's. Had some issues getting it running on Vmware. Will probably make sure I'm on the newest build and try again.
