Actually, there are quite a few of these combos on ebay. Too bad in a way, as a lot of people who would have used them got denied. Well, I officially rescind my trade offer!

Got mine today and a 2 yr warranty as well! Overclocked to Ultra speeds right now, had it at 425 and 1.15 ghz on ram, but then I installed the 62.01s and forgot to do coolbits again! Didn't get it at prepay price, got it at cost though, still sweet and a 2 yr warranty as well!

Does Compusa even ship to France? Anyways if you read the thread you will see it is out of stock about almost everywhere. THey just finally started to ship some and doubt they will fill all the orders lol.

Nevermind. They might be instock instore, but the stores probably will not ship it.

Haven't heard anything from my area either (Charlotte, NC). I'm not showing any stock in either Charlotte store or the Greensboro store. The Raleigh, NC and Richmond, VA stores shows stock though. Maybe tomorrow?

Haven't heard jack crap about the Ultras man! 🙁 Sorry, but honestly go with a GT. Last night I installed coolbits and the 62.01 drivers and I got my GT up to 435/1160!!!! Ultra speeds are 400/1100 and I'm only using a 350W Antec power supply that came with my case! It's better bang for the buck, less power requirements, same speeds, and only one slot! The thing is monstrous though at ~8 inches long! I barely fit it in my case.

Well CompUSA just called and said their shipment came in today around noon. I'm on the way to pick my GT up.

EDIT - I got it. They had it pulled from stock with my name on it. Also no CD in the box...just a page that says to download the drivers from their website. Which is slow as molasses. In the winter. I'm on a T1 and getting 2.1/sec downloads on a 17MB file.

If I were you I would try to downgrade to the GT, the GT does Utlra speeds easy. I'm running at Ultra speeds at 59 degrees idle.

Well, I officially surrendered my prepaid 6800 Ultra. The store manager keeps proclaiming that the store will not be receiving this item and won't allow the same discount on the 6800 GT anymore.

congrats to those of you who got in! (BTW..the lewisville TX store did have the GT and non-ultras on the shelf) Dont' feel like paying $400 for a card anymore though, guess the 9700 pro will last a bit longer.

Well, I found out that they cancelled my order on 7/11. Their explanation was that they didn't think they would ever get the card in stock so they cancelled my order. This despite the fact that the manager had promised me he would special order the card if it didn't arrive soon. Now of course they're showing up at all the local stores! I'll file a report with the BBB just for the hell of it and don't plan on ever spending another nickel at compusa again!

Are they filling the prebuys from that stock, or is that 2 or 3 more on the shelf? Are they not calling to confirm the prebuys?
