That's a single use coupon... you'd have to have received one in your mail...

check your mail for the coupon before trying to get in on this.

Heh, we think alike. Was looking at the 2000fp for a while too. Kicking myself for missing the Labor Day sale.

If anybody has a code they aren't going to use, can you please PM it? Thanks.

I got the coupon from dell too & used it on the PLANAR PL201M.. What do u guys think? Which one is better.. the 2000fp or the Planar?? same price.. I compared them for the longest time and finally chose the Planar..

Good question. The most distingushing features as far as I can tell are the contrast ratios (500:1 vs 350:1), speakers, inputs, and PiP (picture in picture). Speakers I don't really care about, and PiP I think the novelty would wear off pretty fast. Although the idea of plugging in cable tv into the svideo and watching it PiP surfing the web is intriguing... :)

I would probably go with the Planar just because it's a newer LCD, better contrast ratio, and better viewing angles. And Planar has a pretty good policy with dead pixels.


Anybody have firsthand experience with both?

Well I guess I better add my name to the list... even though it is pretty hopeless now. :) I really need to try out one of these LCDs and the Planar 19inch is calling my name...
