I got the coupon from dell too & used it on the PLANAR PL201M.. What do u guys think? Which one is better.. the 2000fp or the Planar?? same price.. I compared them for the longest time and finally chose the Planar..

Good question. The most distingushing features as far as I can tell are the contrast ratios (500:1 vs 350:1), speakers, inputs, and PiP (picture in picture). Speakers I don't really care about, and PiP I think the novelty would wear off pretty fast. Although the idea of plugging in cable tv into the svideo and watching it PiP surfing the web is intriguing... 🙂

I would probably go with the Planar just because it's a newer LCD, better contrast ratio, and better viewing angles. And Planar has a pretty good policy with dead pixels.


Anybody have firsthand experience with both?
 
Well I guess I better add my name to the list... even though it is pretty hopeless now. 🙂 I really need to try out one of these LCDs and the Planar 19inch is calling my name...

Is the Small Business 10% coupon stackable with the current 15%?
