I have my pictures on my PC and backed up on a home server.
I also have them on googles servers.

True. And a person smart enough to see the pitfalls of cloud storage would probably be smart enough to have physical storage in multiple places, and with encryption thrown in for good measure.

Depends how much you value the security and integrity of your data. Some people prefer the easy route. Others prefer the more robust route.

The night shift tech support people probably go through people's cloud stuff to see what kind of interesting stuff they can find. Seriously though folks, they were probably working on a legitimate problem and came across the pics and by law have to report it to police.

the sad part is people think things like the cloud are PRIVATE. sorry no they are not. do not store anything illegal on it.
