The combat in DCUO is one reason why I wanna try it. It's something different instead of the same stale combat system used in most MMOs today.City of Heroes is F2P too, and I gather (without having played either) that it's considered to be better. It has traditional MMO-RPG combat instead of the brawler combat of DCUO.

But as several of us said when the trailer came out, what I'd really like to see is a full-length CG movie about the apocalypse shown in the trailer, with a second half about Luthor changing history to undo it.

Yes I know something different does not always mean it will be good. Which is why I never purchased this game to begin with. But now since it's f2p I see no reason as to why I shouldn't give it a try. If the combat system is better then I will hope that future MMOs will pick up on this idea.Something different does not always equal good.
I thought their system was designed for a PS3 controller and poorly ported. Huge turnoff for me. Though that doesn't mean you won't like it, especially if that's a style you already like.
...anyone gonna give it a try?
I need SOMETHING to hold me over until SWTOR comes out...
I just started playing as a Batman type player...
So far very easy but I'm just got out of the first Brainiac ship...
Well this is a giant cluster so far...
...were they not prepared for all us cheap bastards to start playing?
