So, in conclusion, this thread shows that TallBill came out of the closet.

Congrats! We're all supportive of you! :D

Pics of OP, how tall is tallbill

It says in the OP he is 6'6"

Yeah, but that's so generic. I mean, 6'6" in feet, or cubic liters, or stacked kittens... We need more information!

Cubic alternators is the appropriate unit of measurement here.

Night #2 -- Quiet night tonight, thursday is the big drinking night in Dekalb. Cleaned up a little vomit in the ladies room, stopped a disagreement before it became anything serious, and ended up escorting one patron from the establishment. He lacked the ability to sit properly in a chair (fell to the ground), stand on his own two legs (wall lean), or really function as a human. Anyways, nothing crazy but starting to control the main bar area much better and most importantly keep the waitresses safe.

Just not true. A small percentage are, but they don't last long in their jobs. Bouncers that overreact get bounced themselves, eventually.

Yeah, it seems the opposite at my bar. I had a bartender complain to me today that he had asked other bouncers to remove customers in the past but they didn't. If any bartender or waitress tells me that someone has to go, then they are gone. Nobody that I work with is a dick though, at least that I've seen so far.

Even the guy that I booted tonight went out peacefully. I really just want to make sure that no stupid shit happens on my watch.

So the night was fairly bland for a while. Being at a bar just isn't that amazingly fun when sober. Cleaned up a few broken bottles, walked around a lot, and then the fun began.

A bartender tipped us off to look for a guy and gave his description. At this point I had no clue why we were finding him or what to do with him, but I started looking. Well me and another bouncer find him in the liquor store attached to the bar and block him in. He's obviously nervous.

The other bouncer then tosses him from the store, thinking that we were just supposed to boot him for something. The guy starts looking back from the parking lot, when I get word that he's a thief that pocketed his credit card without paying the tab.

So as soon as I walk out the door and yell to come back he starts running away. This is my first day and I had no clue if we were supposed to chase or not, but I said fuck it and took off after him. He crossed two 4 lane roads trying to ditch me but at this point I was pissed off and determined to catch the asshole.

I finally take him down in another parking lot and waved down a police squad car that was responding to the bar. They took my info and took his ass away.

Fucking awesome first day, even if the pay sucks.
