Day 1 and 2 as a Bouncer...

I think he posted a pic in the Health and Fitness forum. I could not click on it because work block most of the pic sights.
 
Bartender was an idiot for not telling you why you were looking for the guy. Fortunately he didn't get hit by a car while you were chasing him, he probably would have sued the bar. Good job though. :thumbsup:

So as soon as I walk out the door and yell to come back he starts running away. This is my first day and I had no clue if we were supposed to chase or not, but I said fuck it and took off after him. He crossed two 4 lane roads trying to ditch me but at this point I was pissed off and determined to catch the asshole.

I finally take him down in another parking lot and waved down a police squad car that was responding to the bar. They took my info and took his ass away.

Fucking awesome first day, even if the pay sucks.

- He gets kicked out and starts running
- I, the 6'6" 245 lb bouncer, chase him down and sit on him
- Guy gets arrested.

EDIT: So I see I'm not the first one to ask. I think you should arrange an ATOT discount 🙂
 
I couldn't take it. Myself, I am 6' and 300 lbs, but just because I am big, doesn't mean I am not delicate. I would get my ass handed to me left and right.

Nawh, out in Dekalb at Molly's. I'm going to school there starting in the summer, so now I already have a job. We'll see what happens, but it could be fun for now.

It was a real quick "look for this guy" passed on, hence the other bouncer thinking that we should boot him. Next time I'll get more info 😉 I could tell that this guy was just scared shitless.

Meh, I aint posting pics, but you I have some at bodybuilding.com as Tallbill. I am half nekkid though so prepare.

i dont know where this reputation comes from but the hundreds of times I've been out at the bar I've never been yelled out for something that I didn't have coming to me

I don't get it either - never ran into an asshole bouncer either. Most of the time, if you don't cause problems and you're not flat out drunk & an asshole when going in, you'll be fine.

I dunno, out of the few incidents I've had involving bouncers, maybe half of them were just complete asshats bent on a power trip. The other half were great though...so maybe it's a "balance of the universe" thing 😉
