The only thing that the colts have going for them is Addai > Maroney.

Pats win.

You couldn't be more wrong.

Brady ~ Manning
Pats receivers ~ Colts receivers
Pats O Line > Colts O Line
Pats Defense <<<< Colts Defense
Pats runners < Colts runners

Sadly, the Colts defense and running game (even more threatening with Harrison's return) will bring NE to its knees.

Who told you this bullshit? The Colts defense statistically ranked better than the Patriots defense this season. Fewer yards allowed and few point per game.
Not when they played the Patriots.

The Colts won't win in New England. That is, they haven't shown the ability to do so to this point.

In fact, I submit that the main reason the Colts got to the Super Bowl last year was because they DIDN'T have to play in New England.

I thought the reason the Colts got to the SB last year was because the Patsies choked away the largest lead in the history of AFC Championship Games in the 2nd half. Hmm.

I love when Manning plays in a situation where it seems all hope is lost for the Colts, he always seems to rally his team. As though he feels no pressure.

And wow poll is tied. I just hope this game happens.

haha I'm not even going to get into this argument yet - we'll see what happens next week first, neither team is really a given.

I definitely agree with you there. San Diego has the talent to beat anyone, and in the recent past they've given the Colts fits, especially their 3-4 defense. They picked off Manning 6 times in the regular season this year. Granted, the Colts had 34 total players dressed for the game, and they still only lost by 2 when Adam fscking Vinatieri missed a sub-30 yard FG at the end that a Jr. High kicker would've made, but still, a loss is a loss. If Harrison comes back healthy though, SD's secondary better look out. Wayne, Harrison, Gonzalez, Clark, and then Addai coming out of the backfield. How do you cover everyone?

Meanwhile, I think NE matches up poorly against Jacksonville. The Jax D-line will get good pressure on Brady, Mathis and Co. in the backfield are capable of picking the Golden Boy off, Taylor and Jones-Drew can wear down any D, especially an old (good, but old) Patriots* D. Garrard is very precise and doesn't make mistakes, and Moss can't push off to catch TDs if he's stuck on the sidelines while the Jags offense takes 7-8 minutes per possession. I doubt Maroney will be much of a factor against the Jags D, as he seems to do best when the o line can push the tackles out of the middle. Big John Henderson and (Ron?) Meier aren't getting pushed around all game, no way.

Both should be good games. I actually hope Jacksonville wins, for two reasons:

- I don't feel like Indy has anything left to prove to NE, so winning against them in the playoffs doesn't hold the same allure as it used to
- If the Jags win the Colts get the AFC Champ Game, and I have season tix 😀
