I mean...that all applies true if not more for the Giants/Ravens/Eagles as well and the Patriots suuure had a lotttt of trouble beating those teams. Especially the Giants in which it was probably as important a game for them as any Superbowl game they've ever played but almost lost.

Colts defense is also better than Pats defense statistically. The Colts lost to the Pats earlier in the season due to some bad calls and bullsh*t. They will not make the same mistakes.

I'm a ravens fan myself and my roomy is an eagles fan so I've watched ever game both those teams have played this season. When they both played the pats I could have sworn I was watching different teams play.

I will agree with you that emotions obviously come into play, but I will say that I would rather rely on statistics over emotions to decide on what team I believe should win a game. Basically, if you bet on emotions over statistics in football (not counting spreads) you'd be a broke man.
