Loved it!! Wish he'd played a bigger part.

Loved The Office UK, Gervais is a comic genius (Although, Gareth is my favorite character).

The Office US has been slipping a bit, but this season, IMO has been better than the last few.

I'll give Will Ferrell a fair shake here...but if it stinks, they better bow out at the end of this season.

I'm glad it was only small, but the whole "are there any jobs going" maybe leaves it open for him to be back, on the one hand I loved seeing him again and I want more, on the other hand the Office (UK) was perfect, the best they could do by adding to it is keep it the same, the worst they could do is ruin it... So maybe he shouldn't come back, or if he did they need to be careful.

Gervais is just a whole new level of wrongness and uncomfortableness, it would be interesting if he took over for carrell.

It would be interesting but... They could ruin the end for his character, I like how the specials left it.

Quite honestly, I don't see how you can enjoy the office and Michael Scott and think that Farrell is horrible. It's very similar types of comedy.

if they're similar types of comedy then Carrell is a better actor than Ferrell by miles.

The Gervais appearance was disappointing, to say the least. It was funny for the 40 seconds he was there, though.

There is nothing wrong with Farrell. Haters gonna continue to be idiots, so no use agonizing over them.

Gervais' appearance the other night was "meh."

but it was just a cameo.

Honestly, I did need a translator b/c I didn't understand a single word from that conversation.

REALLY?! What was wrong with it?

Yeah All his lines were lost on me too. He needs to enunciate. UK Office is unwatchable BTW.

What... What...?!

What wasn't watchable?! Can you post a video where they say something you can't understand so I can see what you mean?

The loss of Steve Carell and the Michael Scott character can only help the show. It's stale and every time the story centers on Carell and that tired old schtick things grind to an unfunny halt. They might as well try something new and let some of the other characters get a chance. When was the last time they let Creed do anything at all?

i thought at first that the show would die without michael scott, but lately i tend to agree with you. other than when he's doing something with holly, he really doesn't add much anymore. bringing in a new boss might work, or might fail, but at least it would be new. and creed was part of the latest episode. creed being creed.

also, i have to painfully agree with the brit, nothing wrong with rickys cameo.

really? i rarely have trouble understanding British accents. the only time i usually don't understand is when they use a British slang word that I am not familiar with. I think people tend to hear an accent and switch off their brains because it's different than what they normally hear.

I couldn't understand what he was saying when I watched the show. I could after watching the clip posted here, though.

OK... That makes no sense.

Good to know, but those are English accents there are no british accents. I never have a problem understanding american accents, this seems strange to me.

I don't have any trouble understanding Gervais, but I will admit it did take some practice to understand everything Karl Pilkington says. Mostly because he talks quietly and mumbles though.

yeah, me too. The voice was rather mushy and mumbly in that scene, though. There were various issues going on at the time that it happened, and I honestly didn't care to hit replay on the DVR as it was such a short, meaningless bit.
