If true, this would be the biggest fail. Let it go NBC, she had a good run. It's time to put her down.

Or just keep on trying like you did with Scrubs...
What I hated about Scrubs was near the end JD got wackier and wackier. Taking him out earlier would have made me like the show more. However, taking out Michael Scott would only hurt the show. I'm glad they didn't make him the sole focus of the show, but his part is still essential.

I liked the UK office and Ricky was good in it but he gets on my nerves after awhile. He's like Michael Cera and always plays the same character in every movie.

Woah, I did not know Carell plans to leave the show before the end of the season... They should definitely give him a good farewell and then tie up the series in 4 episodes.

Personally, I hope he basically runs away with Holly. It would give him an excuse to leave and they've recently brought her back so I bet they are leading to them getting together officially. Especially since Micheal's relationship problems have been going on the whole series.

The loss of Steve Carell and the Michael Scott character can only help the show. It's stale and every time the story centers on Carell and that tired old schtick things grind to an unfunny halt. They might as well try something new and let some of the other characters get a chance. When was the last time they let Creed do anything at all?
Since when does Creed need to be let to do anything?

The guy who plays Creed has the best gig....probably only says a couple lines in an epsiode, if even that, and still gets paid.

Haha yeah Creed is a great character IMO. I love that episode where Michael asks him what he does and he just kind of stutters and they move on.

The only thing that could save that show is if Dwight runs over Pam and whatshisnames baby.

That would be funny.

Then Jim goes on a rampage and kills everyone in the office, then offs himself. Perfect ending for the series.

um, they let scrubs go, ABC tried to keep it going.

while I agree with not extending things for the sake of it, would you not even support sending the show off with bang?

It's not Gervais for now, but it looks like Will Ferrell will be making a 4-episode appearance.

One can only hope that Todd Packer shows up as well to complete the 3/4 Anchorman reunion.

I'm tired of Michael Scott but love the Office and have no problem with them trying this instead of just killing it. Who knows, it may be awesome.

Quite honestly, I don't see how you can enjoy the office and Michael Scott and think that Farrell is horrible. It's very similar types of comedy.
