False lies?
Where shall I start?
How about software compatabilty?
How about hardware compatability?
How about not taking the time to test the product or drivers with "Common" configurations?
How about having compatability issues, and instead of telling users how to correct it, (by using the correct drivers, or patch) you say it's not fixable, because "other hardware is causing it?
How about having to use many different drivers depending on what you wish to do?
How about waiting for OpenGL support that never came?
How about TV output that used to be both monitor and TV out at same time, but now won't, amd now they say it can't be done?
How about I'm getting tired of typing all of this that just popped into my head that past few seconds, and brought back ALL the bad memories?
Take a look at readmes that come with many games. Many will list a problem with the V3, and many will list a work around. For a card that was supposed to be the most compatable, this is insane. Sure, if a problem occurs they will release a new driver that corrects it, but that same driver that fixes 1 thing, breaks 2 more things that used to work.
I do agree the V3's are excellent cards for the price, and with the 2000's around $50, nothing else is in the same ballpark. But, I think you would be foolish to invest any more than that into a company this bad. Even if a GeForce MX card was slower than a V5 5500, and if both cards cot $100, it would be no contest on which to get, based on predicted future of the 2 companies alone. Get the one that never comes through with what they say, or get the one that's here to stay?
