Oh, ok. I actually forgot having read that previously.
They dont have to digitize the voice but they do anyways.....i bet if britney did a unplugged thing she'd impress just about anybody. for her style of music maybe digitized is the better way to go, who knows.
If Britney could pull off an "unplugged" performance, with no dancers, no digitizers, no tapes, no other "cheats" I seriously would be impressed. But I don't think she could. My money is on they digitize her voice because it just ain't all that great. People who use digitizers occaisionally do it for effect. She does it for most every song.
As for lip syncing, well i can only guess on this one but its proolly difficult to sing your heart out every single night like many of them do when they are touring constantly.
If that's the excuse, they are in the wrong business. With the kind of mics and amplification they have at their disposal, they don't have even have to belt or project. Most of these songs aren't even terribly demanding vocally. Maybe it's more a matter of with all her smoking she no longer has the stamina to sing and dance an entire concert? It's all speculation.
Have u been to any of these concerts or are you assuming?
Been to? yeah right. Seen live televised performances? The last one I saw Britney doing like 2 weeks ago, she wasn't even close to being in sync with the dub. Some of the "oooh yeah" type embellishments she didn't even both mouthing. It was pretty bad.
i took my little sis to nsync and i cannot deny there vocal talents, there wasnt lip syncing.
Most decent performers can lip sync well enough that you won't know the difference, which is why it's doubly disturbing that Britney did such a bad job of it.
Regardless, I suppose you could say they have some small amount of talent inthat they can at least carry a tune. Is it worthy of the endless merchandising and airplay?
Usually not.
Especially when we have orgs like ClearChannel manufacturing stars and doing their best to dictate what gets popular and what does not.
