DMB = teh awesome. I was listening to The Lillywhite Sessions yesterday. I can't believe that they initially passed over those recordings to bring out that sh!tty Everyday album. I guess they sort of made up for it with Busted Stuff, but it pales in comparison to The Lillywhite Sessions.

I was reading that DMB is in the studio right now and they have a new album coming out this summer. WOOT! :D

DMB is good, but is even better with Tim Reynolds. Check out Live at Luther College.

Listened to that on Thursday afternoon. Cry Freedom and Seek Up are especially powerful from that outing.

BTW, my ALL TIME FAVORITE DMB SONG... this song just makes me shiver.

You are obvioulsy easily moved, kind of like loose stool.

And you seem to hang on to every DMB thread despite your hatred for them, sort of like sweat on my nutsack.
pssst, only males have nutsacks.

BTW, I don't hate them actually, I just don't think they are "All That". Hell if given a free ticket to one of their shows across the street I'd probably go..that is if I couldn't scalp it for some serious coin.

I paid a little over $100 for two tickets for me and my GF this past summer to see 'em. And that was for lawn seating. Great show, although I'm sure I had a contact high afterwards.

I can never understand why all my friends are obsessed with DMB. Like everyone. Hell I love a lot of music, everything from Bruce Springsteen to Metallica to The Beach Boys to ACDC to Classical, but I have never found any DMB song that I liked or was entertained by. It's not that I think they are trash, I just don't even feel their music.

That and everyone at their concerts is pot heads and high school kids trying to act cool by drinking.

ahhhh....

Some things never change around here. :)

I can't believe the 2 of them are still arguing about DMB after all these years!

Personally, I like DMB. I saw 'em live once back in '98 and it was a very good show.

Dave's unique voice + guitar + drums + bass + violin + sax = musical goodness IMHO. And now they've got a trumpet player on the road for even more goodness

All they need is an accordion player and you'll be in heaven.

I'm not a huge fan, but Under The Table and Dreaming was quite good.

If I could take only 100 CDs from my collection to that famous desert isle, it would probably be included just for "Satellite."
