HOW DOES IT MAKE SO MUCH MONEY!?

I'm sure it helps to have Jet Li and Michelle Yeo in it, as they are both well-known internationally. And the Mummy franchise brings in kids, which brings in their parents, so that all helps to boost ticket sales even if the movie is bad.

I'm serious, he's just that way. This is what he likes to do and doesn't care if he never wins an oscar. So with that we all need to Wheeeze th Jui-uice!

On another side note, I certainly don't remember ticket prices for movies being HALF what they are 10 years ago. I only pay $8 to $9 a ticket now and I think I was paying $6 or $7 then. Certainly not half. That would be inflation almost as bad as gas prices.

I paid 16 dollars for my IMAX ticket, I don't remember ever spending over 10 in the past, but I haven't been to a movie in years.

Also, TDK kicked ass. I watched BB for the first time the night before I saw it, and I've been missing out. Can't wait for the third one to be released.
