all comic book movies are still horrid garbage.

I didn't care about your review of batman, this is what caught my attention and response.

Superman - marginal (Gene Hackman and Ned Beatty save this one somewhat)
Superman II - not good
Superman III - no words to describe the amount of suck
Superman Returns - He shouldn't have.
Hulk - Bwhahahahahaha
Spiderman - terrible
Spiderman 2 - ridiculous
Spiderman 3 - didn't bother
Hellboy - retarded (and to think Ron Perlman was in Quest for Fire and City of Lost Children)
Daredevil - oh my... (why does Ben Affleck act?)
X-Men - nope
X-Men 2 - nope
Was there and X-Men 3?
Sin City - Portions were OK because they had Mickey Roark in them. Jessica Alba's ass does not equal good acting.
Ghostrider - awful
Iron Man - didn't bother, won't
Blade - Steven Dorf almost... no
Blade II - rotten
Blade Trinity - uhg
The Crow - beyond bad, but one of the best soundtracks ever accompanying a film I will give it that. On the other hand, watching dead people in movies that just came out...
Popeye - Robin Williams, Shelly Duval, (perfect casting) but still amazingly bad
V for Vendetta - V for suck!
Fantastic Four - I'd rather be waterboarded
Captain America - Anyone even remember this? There's a reason.
300 - perceived years of misery?
Dick Tracy - I bet you think this song is about you, don't you?

Heavy Metal - You win, there is one.

Are you crazy? Iron Man was an awesome movie and I am not even an action comics fan!

Are you 11?

What are your favorite movies.

What, are your teenage/early 20-something feelings getting hurt because I disagree with you on what makes a good film? Get a life. My opinion is as valid as anyone's, deal with it.

Also, I do not come to forums and converse much with people that think like me. That has a preaching to the choir aspect to it that I find uninteresting. I have much fun more replying to people I disagree with. I might learn something that way?

Your opinion is indeed valid. But you're IN THE WRONG THREAD. There's another thread for people who don't like the movie. GO THERE NOW.

I've learned something today. You're an ass. And nice try with the age guess, but you're wrong.

NEEEEEXT!

Over 30 and finding this movie entertaining in any way without the use of hallucinogens is evidence for some type of mental illness.

What's the point of a thread where everyone agrees? That's a sentiment perhaps more retarded than this godawful film.

I like you, you silly little bitch.

No, the fact you being here and shouting how I hate such and such film because the majority does indicates YOU needing attention you so sorely and desperately need. Parents not giving you a second anymore because you cling to much to their leg? Well see that empty room there and that little man shouting all by himself? That's you. Now I'll go enjoy my movie and bask in the brilliance of Nolan and his creative team. 🙂

lol

Well then I guess all these professional movie reviewers suffer from mental illness. Somebody, give this guy a promotion ASAP! He's clearly more brilliant than us all.

srsly, it's been proven time and time again that arguing with SphinxnihpS is pointless. He's "always right"

Last I checked, opinions are not a valid excuse for insults on these forums

Well it is official it has made $66.5 million on Friday. Includes midnight showings sense that is Friday.

what's the highest single day record?

Spiderman 3 at $59.5 million I believe. So it beat that movie by a good margin.

These highest gross records are ridiculous, done only for free marketing.

a.) tickets are always more expensive year after year
b.) theaters are always being constructed as the population grows

Thus, you will always have records "broken". It's never apples to apples.

Hypothetically put a first release Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, ET, etc in today's theaters and it'd be more apples to apples. I think "Gone with The Wind" would hold the record for its staying power.

He wanted to know the highest single day gross not the highest all time box office total. We don't even know that yet for The Dark Knight but $300 million + is a lock now.

Several of the websites that track these numbers have an option to show them with adjustments for inflation and such.

Something tells me sphinx is not the life of the party wherever he goes.

also - All of the IMAX showings for this weekend in my city were sold-out in advance.

You're right! He's right, the world is all wrong. Don't you get that?

LOL- I just pictured him speaking and at the end of each statement you hear a Debbie Downer "WAAA WAAaa Waaaahhhhhh" 🙂

What's the big deal? Batman Begins was mediocre. Is there a reason I should go see this one? I haven't seen a reason yet.
