Dark circles under your eyes?

I was just watching tv and saw someone with absolutely no dark circles under his eyes. (Yeah, I know they have makeup, etc...) It wasn't a show where they really "pretty you up", but I was wondering how it was like that. (The show was Monster House, btw.) Anyway....I've always had dark circles under my eyes. Do any of you know how to get rid of them or even if there is a way?!

Wow...I was just looking in the bathroom TWO minutes ago at my dark circles. I've always had them too. Maybe those under eye creams might help to get rid of them?? dunno. Just so weird that I was JUST thinking about the same thing.

Native - My aunt said that my cousin knew of an eye cream that supposedly worked for her, but she didn't know which it was. (Convenient, I say....) I'll have to find out what it is. I hate having these circles. I'm tired a lot of the time, but I don't have to *look* like it, damnit! :p

I've never heard of botox used for that. I wouldn't doubt it, but I don't know. Still not something I would do. Either I'll just keep 'em or use a cream, but that's about as far as I want to go.

Maybe, but there are plenty of people who try to seperate the two. The rolling eyes were probably too much :)

Drugs are bad kids :D

There are people who abuse alcohol just as much. I like to drink once in a while, but I rarely do it. I have some wine in the fridge that I've had for a few months now that's half full and half a six pack of Bacardi O3 left from about a month and a half ago. So, yeah....I like alcohol, but I don't abuse it.

Umm... WTF? That is normal?
Is what normal? Dark circles under your eyes? Lots of people have dark circles under their eyes.

I always have them too.

They're quite common among people with allergies, & almost always show in people with keratoconus (I have both, lucky me).

People are constantly commenting on how I look like I need sleep.

Any more I just smile & nod.

(pause while I take a look in the mirror)

I don't seem to have them myself, but I have a friend who says that "St. Ives Q10 Wrinkle Correctior Lotion" worked great on hers and on some blotchy bits on her face.

My problem (one of 'em, anyway) is that my nose tends to be just a little bit darker than the rest of my face (pic) and I tried a little of the St. Ives lotion for a while, but it didn't seem to do anything.

I second that! Haha. My circles aren't very bad at all, but so far sleeping more has been the only thing to improve them.

Yeah, I have them pretty bad. Working nights and 20 hour shifts at McDonald's did it to me.
