First, if you have a lump on the "side", you've got a problem. (unless your testicles are really out of a common position)

The epididymus is on the back of the testicle and makes its way over the top.

THIS PICTURE actually shows a good detail of epididymus in its own complexity. As it was broken down to me, you could be feeling......
1.) Inflammation of the epididymus
2.) Inflammation of the spermatic cord itself
3.) Inflammation of the overlap of the two.

It doesn't feel good even if your testicles are fine, but if you wanna feel some junk, check your 10 o'clock (imagine looking at yourself sideways) on your testicle and you'll feel some seriously weird sheott!

Chances are you simply have an imflamation of the epididymus itself....(no biggie). The doc might give you antibiotics, or he might tell you it'll go away on its own. Sometimes, one can be more prone to get this than not. And while it's not necessarily been proven, I do in fact think that more sexors helps.

Talking about this makes my balls hurt!

Entirely possible the 2 things (pain and the lump) are unrelated. It sounds like you are feeling the Appendix testis (if it is just below the epididymus) or the appendix epididymus if it is on it.

haha my left nut was actually undescended when I was born. I had a hernia when I was 5, and since it was right there they descended it for me. They also noted that my right nut is huge, it's like a double nut. While it sounded cool when I was a teen..it sounds like cancer waiting to happen now.

Update: Saw dr. today, he's making an appt. for me to see a urologist. The lump is on the epididymis, so it's probably not ball cancer, which is a relief. Still I'd like to know what it is exactly. While he's down there maybe the urologist can tell me if the lower abdomen pain I've had when sitting is from a potential hernia.

You know I had similar thing just a couple of weeks ago...

Pain in the abdomen + testicle related, press my ab in the spot it hurts pain in the testicle would go away.

I saw a urologist and everything but they couldn't find any torsion, blood flow was good, no lumps no epididymis issues

I still have the pain, so I don't know

Not really. I do some intensive biking outside but that is the most of my physical activity

It started happening after I had carried alot of pieces of MDF and it rested against my lower ab as I walked.. so that might have been the cause (hernia?)

I've been meaning to go for a follow up to confirm

UPDATE: Saw a urologist, he ordered an ultrasound, but after he (and another guy) felt my balls he said that the lump on the left is on the epididymis and is almost certainly a spermocele, or a spermatic cyst. He felt my right nut and said it felt swollen though, probably on account of hydrocele. Neither of my nuts has anything major wrong with it, so the ultrasound is in two weeks.

I got the ultrasound today. I'm actually really worried right now. I asked the tech if he would be able to give me results today, and he said he'd do the report today and then the doctor would tell me at the appointment we had set for October 14th. I asked the guy if he could see the lump when he was doing the procedure. He said he hadn't gotten to that side yet, and that even when he did he couldn't tell me one way or the other. So afterward he told me I could clean the gel stuff off my nuts, and that he was going to go make sure the pictures developed. When he got back he said they'd have the report ready by tomorrow. I asked him if I should wait until the 14th or if I could just call the urology clinic to get them tomorrow. He said I could wait until the 14th. After when I was leaving I saw him in the office with the receptionist whispering, when I asked them if I needed to give them a copay they both stopped and looked at me really weird.

I'm worried mainly because I think they might've been whispering about me. More than that though, he said I could wait until the 14th...isn't it usually bad news when they don't say "yeah just call tomorrow and get the results over the phone"? I've NEVER had it be good news when they tell you to wait for a followup appointment. I REALLY do not want to die. I can't even walk right now my legs are shaking so bad. This fucking sucks.

Calm down. It's humor nature to think the worst. More times than not it's not the worst so the odds are with you. Their whispering in your view is unprofessional though I will say.

That said, the 14th is too far away. I would call and ask for the results before that. Tell them you can't sleep over this. That will make them accommodate you.
