Was out in Baltimore this past weekend for my cousin's wedding and they were serving Yuengling.

Excellent beer. Just wish I could buy it out this way.

seriously, sam adams, "ice" beer, "light" beer, "low carb" beer, red dog, blue moon, malt lemonade (does zima count there?)and you think yuengling is the biggest fad beer?

im willing to believe it from a distance...but here in jersey it costs about 4.50 a six pack and tastes better than anything else at that price.

It is the biggest fad because people actually think it is a quality beer. People talk about how good it is and they have absolutely no freakin clue. It is one step above budweiser. Nothing more.

Yeah I am a beer snob....

Are you kidding? Yuengling is the oldest brewery in America. Its also brewed about 30 minutes from where I grew up, so maybe I'm biased...but at the price, there is no better lager. None.

Never tried it, I have to look around. I usually drink Chimay.

wow, it's such a common beer here. . . it's interesting to hear someone first discovering it.

a lot of the bars here have that on tap. I think it is a bit bitter, and much prefer killians.

but most of the bars here dont have killians or anything close... not in bottle, or on tap. the closest thing i can get is Yuengling. Dont love it... but I hate the whole Bud/Miller/Coors things, so...

Just buy Heineken. That's what I do. 🙂

Yuengling is really common beer here.. It's an American beer too, btw.. but it tastes more 'bitter' like a European beer. I have yuengling lager in my kegerator right now.. I'm thinking about having one.

Heineken is definitely my favorite lager, but it comes at a cost. In the case, $28 vs $15, at the bar Heineken is usually considered a "premium" beer and not included in any specials.
