I have an account in an Internet bank who's head quarters are not very far from where I live (around 20-30 miles away). I live in East Cobb, btw, which is as suburb of atlanta.
I use that Internet bank because the interest is so high - 4% for a checking account. I ususally make all my deposits of checks with envelops that I mail. They generally receieve and process them after about one day.
However, I mail the latest batch of checks monday, totalling $2600 . they still not have receieved it. I think the post office lost it. What's worse, I ususally keep a copy of who sent me what check in what amount on my computer. I know I entered it into the computer on monday. however, it isn't there! all my other previous info are there; the info I need isn't (figures, right... 🙁 )
I can get about $1,800 of the checks back, but the rest were from misc sources, such as rebates, etc. that I have no idea who mailed them who us.
Is there any way to start a mail trace with the USPS? I'll gladly pay $100+ to get the envelope recovered...
Can any one help?
